Promptpay Payment
Introduction
Promptpay is the new payment system that has been implemented in the Big Pos application Pro and Lite versions. Promptpay is only available in the Thailand region for our Thailand customer usage.
How to set up Promptpay in BIG POS Web admin?
- First of all, go to “Setting” and choose “Payment Options“.
- Then, Go to Select Payment Method and choose “Promptpay“.
- After choosing “Promptpay“, you need to key in Promptpay information data such as National ID, Mobile No, and choose Enable Promptpay before click “Save”. That is how to set up your Promptpay payment setting.
Notes: You need to fill in one of these field to choose which account link to Promptpay. If fill both fields, Promtpay will choose National ID as default.
How to use Promptpay in Big Pos?
- First, you need to add order in the cart and click “Pay”.
- Then, from the payment page, you will get an option to pay using Promptpay. If you disable the Promptpay on the web, the Promptpay option will not show up.
- After you click “Promptpay”, Promptpay QR will comes up and customer scan the Promptpay QR to proceed with the payment.
- When payment has been made, cashier click “Update Payment Status” to verify the payment. Then click “Yes” to complete the payment. If click “No”, payment will not proceed and its return to payment page.
Notes; Promptpay cannot be use in QR menu. Promptpay only available in the Big Pos Pro and Lite application.
- If you enable Promptpay in web admin, the print Promptpay qr in guest check will show up. If disabled in web admin, this option is hidden in apps.
- Promptpay QR can be enable in guest check receipt. Go to Setting, General and click the Guest Check toggle to enable Promptpay QR. Then click Promptpay QR toggle to enable the QR in guest check receipt.
- Promptpay QR will appear in the guest check receipt. Then the customer can proceed to scan from the guest check receipt.
How to view Promptpay payment method in application
- First, click the “Shift Report” in the application.
- Next, choose and click the shift report you want to view.
- Then slide to the payments summary page. You can view the payment you have made using the Promptpay.
- You can check the Promptpay in shift report on the website in order to make sure it’s the same amount with the apps. To do that, go to “Report”,” Sales” and choose “Shift Report”.
- Select your branch in “Branch Name”
- Next, set time and date from “Since” to get the specific date and time of your transaction. The report also can be export to CSV and PDF by select the “Export”. Click “Go” after date and time is set.
- Then, choose and click the report you want to view.
- You can compare the shift report from the application and shift report from the website for your Promptpay transaction.
- Other than shift report, you can also view the transaction in payment type report. Just go to “Report”, “Sales” and choose “Payment Type Report”.
- Select your branch in “Branch Name”.
- Then set time and date from “Since” to get the specific date and time of your transaction. The report also can be export to CSV and PDF by select the “Export”. Click “Go” after date and time is set.
- Then the payment bar chart will show your type and the amount of your transaction. At the bottom is your transaction details. You can check the shift report from the application whether it’s the same with the payment type report or not.
