What is the End of Life (EOL) for iOS BIG POS Apps?
End of Life (EOL) means that BIG POS will no longer provide technical support, updates, or new features for the iOS BIG Apps. After April 29th, 2025, the apps will continue to work but will not receive any software updates. Additionally, we will only provide limited technical support(until further notice).
To continue receiving updates and support, we strongly recommend transitioning to the Android version of BIG POS.
What is the EOL timeline and support schedule?
From 1 March 2025 – 29th April 2025
BIG POS will continue providing full support for iOS apps.
Users can still access technical support and minor updates.
After 29th April 2025
iOS BIG POS Apps will no longer receive updates.
No further customers but technical support still continues and is being provided(until further notice)
The apps may still function, but BIG POS will not ensure compatibility with future iOS updates.
Will my iOS BIG POS PRO & iOS BIG POS Lite stop working after April 29th, 2025?
Your iOS BIG POS Apps will continue to work seamlessly on your current devices. However, to unlock even greater features, enhanced performance, and long-term support, we strongly recommend switching to the Android version of BIG POS.
What will happen to supporting apps like BIG Analytics, BIG Inventory, and BIG Waiter?
Support for all iOS BIG POS supporting apps (BIG Analytics, BIG Inventory, BIG Waiter) will also end on 29th April, 2025.These apps may still function on iOS devices, but BIG POS will not provide new feature updates.
Will my existing hardware (e.g., card readers, printers) still work?
All existing hardware (such as card readers, receipt printers, and barcode scanners) will continue to function. However, since BIG POS is discontinuing new update features on iOS but technical support will still continue(until further notice).
Will BIG POS provide updates or announcements about the iOS EOL process?
We will send regular updates through:
- Email notifications
- BIG POS website & support pages
We recommend keeping an eye on your inbox and checking our website for the latest information.
Will there be a final update before the EOL date?
The final feature updates before the iOS BIG POS EOL include:
- Loyalty Program Enhancements
- Tyro Payment Integration (Australia Only)
- Till Payment System (Australia Only)
These updates will be the last enhancements before support ends.

Migrating to the Android version provides:
