- How do I sync the BIG Waiter?
BIG Waiter does not need to be synced manually as syncing takes place via BIG POS Pro, if you feel like the information presented in BIG POSWaiter is outdated or mismatched to the connected BIG POS Pro, try clicking on ‘Register’ via the menu.
- Why do I see empty product screen or I can’t send transactions to BIG POS Pro via my BIG Waiter?
Make sure you have an active connection between BIG POS Pro and BIG Waiter and there is a printer connected to BIG POS Pro.
- I scan the QR code displayed on BIG POS Pro but nothing happens.
Make sure both devices using BIG POS Pro and BIG Waiter are connected to the same WiFi.
- How do I split the order in BIG Waiter?
Unfortunately, BIG Waiter does not feature split order, it can only be done on the connected BIG POS Pro.
- When I try to perform certain actions such as changing tables or adding a new product, the app notifies ‘Your order was revised by other terminal’, what does that mean?
Basically that information explains that your current order has been interrupted by another device, it could be BIG POS Pro or another connected BIG Waiter where someone else has made changes to your order and what information you are holding is outdated and will be canceled automatically to avoid duplication conflicts.
- How do I turn on ‘direct add cart’ in BIG Waiter?
You can’t directly turn on the option in BIG Waiter but you can turn it on in BIG POS Pro which will take effect in both apps.
- Can I use Android BIG Waiter to connect to IOS BIG POS Pro or vice versa?
Yes, BIG Waiter supports cross platform connection.
- Can I check the Shift Report in BIG Waiter?
Unfortunately, BIG Waiter does not feature Shift Report, you can only view it on the connected BIG POS Pro.
- I can’t access the other opened tables, it says ‘Order already locked by [device name]’, why is it?
The table in question is either opened via a different device/terminal or it has been unlocked by the mother terminal (BIG POS Pro). For more details, please refer to Order Lock section of BIG Waiter.
- How to connect BIG Waiter to BIG KDS?
As long as the BIG Waiter is connected to a BIG POS Pro that has BIG KDS connected to it, any order sent from the BIG Waiter will also be sent to the BIG KDS.
